MusIQ Challenger Game game makes it fun and easy for students to learn the connections between intervals, chords, scales and semitone building blocks by addressing the traditional barriers involved with learning music theory.
Similar to Scrabble and Chess, notes are placed strategically to create simple or complex musical patterns, scales and chords. Over time, players are comfortable identifying musical labels and associating their corresponding sounds. The player’s recognition and construction of interval, chord, and scale motifs becomes effortless while playing their instrument of choice.
Levels range from beginner to advanced. Advanced players decode a mystery selection of music selected randomly from several distinct genres. The higher objective is to understand the relationships between musical devices and be prepared for the study of composition and harmony.
